Menu cases show your menu outside where diners decide; lightboxes light a poster so it stands out day and night. Choose a glazed, lockable outdoor menu case (lit or unlit) for 1 to 4 A4 pages, an LED poster lightbox from A3 to 40 x 60 in, or clear and metal holders for tables and counters.

Diners often choose where to eat by reading the menu outside first. A clean, glazed menu case at eye level, lit after dark, answers their questions before they step in. Inside, table and counter holders keep menus, specials and prices tidy and wipe-clean.

Outdoor menu cases

A menu case is a shallow, lockable wall case with a vandal-resistant polycarbonate front, a steel back and magnetic pins to hold the pages. Sizes hold 1, 2 or 4 A4 pages. Add a printed vinyl header with your name, choose the illuminated version with built-in LEDs for evening trade, or order a made-to-order RAL colour to match your frontage.

LED lightboxes

• Slim edge-lit frames only 19 mm deep, for windows and receptions.
• Value LED lightboxes with snap frames, A3 to A0.
• Lockable outdoor lightboxes with a weather seal, 30 x 40 in to 40 x 60 in.
• Steel-cased wall lightboxes in A2 and A1, and a hanging display that uses the store's own light with no wiring.

Lightboxes run on 12 V supplies with a plug. Outdoor fittings should be connected by a qualified electrician.

Table and counter holders

Clear menu holders, table talkers, spring-grip aluminium holders, pedestal menu boards, telescopic menu stands, countertop snap frames and metal card holders for buffets and price labels. Most come in DL, A5 and A4 to match standard menu and leaflet sizes.

Posters for lightboxes

Use backlit poster film in a lightbox. It is made to spread light evenly, so colours look bright without hot spots; ordinary paper looks patchy when lit from behind. Indoor and outdoor films are available from A4 to 40 x 60 in.

Choosing the right size

Count the pages you want to show. One A4 page suits a takeaway or a short menu; two A4 pages side by side suit a full lunch and dinner menu; four A4 pages suit a pub or restaurant with a long menu and drinks list. For lightboxes, choose the poster size you already print, or the size your window can carry.
