People look ahead and down as they walk, not just at windows. Floors, bollards and the space at right angles to a shopfront are all places a message can be read that ordinary signs do not reach.

Floor graphics

Printed self-adhesive floor stickers come in circles, squares and triangles of 100, 200 and 300 mm, or cut to any shape within A4 to A0. Use them for wayfinding, queues, safety and promotions in aisles. Printed floor mats on a non-slip rubber back go at entrances, by tills and chillers, with no adhesive. Printed bar runners protect counters and carry your brand at the bar.

Bollard covers

Printed 3- or 4-sided covers pop over existing bollards from 100 to 200 mm diameter, in heights of 800, 1000 or 1200 mm, and fold together with tabs, with no tape or tools. They suit forecourts, supermarket car parks and drive-throughs, especially for seasonal campaigns.

Projecting signs

A projecting (flange) sign sticks out from the wall at right angles, so it is read by people walking along the pavement rather than only those facing the shop. Ours are 1.2 mm aluminium, double-sided, on a pre-drilled 50 mm flange, round, oval or rectangular, printed both sides or blank for vinyl. Stand-off fixings for flat wall signs are here too.

Showcards and point of sale

Showcard frames on short or tall poles, basket clips for wire bins, adhesive grippers, magnetic aisle flags and printed ice cream cone holders put prices and offers right where the product is.

Planning a floor graphic

• Keep text large and short; people read floor graphics in passing.
• Avoid sharp corners and fine cut detail, which lift sooner.
• Lay on clean, dry, smooth floors; expect replacement after a few months on busy routes.

Permission

Projecting signs often need advertisement consent, and stricter rules apply to listed buildings and conservation areas. Bollards on public land belong to the council; only cover bollards you own or have permission to use. Rules differ between councils and between England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland, so check with your local council before you put anything on a public pavement.
